Susan Hightower
Manager of Accounting and Finance
Ms. Hightower is responsible for the servicing of all loans, accounting, analysis and reporting of financial activity for the company. In addition, she brings extensive experience in accounting and finance to support overall projects and lending activity for BDC Funding and Beard Development Corporation.
Ms. Hightower has excelled in various levels of accounting and tax from staff accountant to auditor to controller. She has worked for a variety of profit and non-profit organizations which include Alcoa of Pittsburgh, Inc., The Council on Library Resources, Inc., and Councilor Buchanan & Mitchell, CPA’s. Ms. Hightower began her career in Pittsburgh, PA with the public accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand; currently PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
Ms. Hightower is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science degree in business/accounting. She became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 2005. Ms. Hightower’s philosophy for success in fulfilling a vision is: faith, education, planning and persistent execution. She resides in Upper Marlboro, MD with her husband and two children. |
